People decide where to eat on their phones. Before they visit, most will check your Instagram, TikTok or Google listing to see what the food actually looks like. Short vertical videos are the fastest way to show them.
We shoot content for restaurants across the GTA, from wing spots to sandwich shops. These are the five types of reels we come back to again and again, because they work.
1. The hero dish close-up
Your best-selling item, shot up close with good light. Sauce dripping, cheese pulling, steam rising. Keep it short and let the food do the talking. This is the video people send to their friends with "we need to go here."
2. Behind the scenes in the kitchen
Show the prep. Hands breading wings, a grill getting loaded, a sandwich being stacked. People love seeing how food is made, and it builds trust that your food is fresh and made with care.
3. The storefront and the space
Many people go somewhere new only after seeing what it looks like. A quick shot of your sign, the dining room and the bar or counter helps them picture themselves there, and makes you easy to recognize when they drive by.
4. Menu and special highlights
New item, limited-time special, game day deal. A short reel that shows the item and says what it is and when it is available gives people a reason to come in this week, not someday.
5. Faces and personality
Your staff, your owner, your regulars. A restaurant with a face feels like a place people want to support. Even a few seconds of the team laughing in the kitchen makes your page feel human.
How to make it easy
The hardest part for most owners is finding the time. That is why we batch shoot: one session at your restaurant gives you weeks of reels, edited and ready to post. If you want help planning, shooting or posting, get in touch or see our restaurant work.
